The Spacebar has a base comfort of 60 and provides:

  • Drinking
  • Relaxation
  • Social

The small one requires one person per shift, the larger one requires two. The small one will service 4 people at the same time, the larger one will service 10 at the same time, so you get 50% more visitors per worker with the larger one.

Relaxation[edit]

Relaxation is one of the base interests that most colonists share. It can be provided by parks at an intensity of 40 Comfort without having anybody servicing the customers.

Social[edit]

Social is one of the base interests that most colonists share. It can be provided by Open Air Gyms at an intensity of 50 Comfort without having anybody servicing the customers.

Drinking[edit]

Drinking is only required by Geologist and colonists with the Alcoholic trait. It is also an interest that can only be satisfied by this building (unless you have USA as your sponsor, allowing Mega Mall to be built).

Comfort level[edit]

The bar provides 60 comfort, a value that can be increased by 4 points for each 20 points of Building Performance. This is not enough to keep customers at 65+ in order to prevent them from becoming renegades. The customers gain +5 Morale at 70 Comfort. They do not lose any Comfort as long as they get any service, no matter how bad it is.

Increasing Comfort level[edit]

20 Building Performance can be gained from a Heavy Workload, the rest has to come from the workers. Each Morale above 50 adds another Building performance for the small one, half that much for the big one, meaning that both workers have to have +20 morale in order to increase the Comfort by +4.

One worker having Workaholic adds 20 Worker Performance points, increasing Building Performance for the small one by the same amount, half that much for the large one.
